This is a seriously sleek piece of equipment. It’ll run you around $1299.99, but for a laptop of around 4lbs with this kind of capability, it’s worth the price.
XPS, “High Performance” line pretty much has the same kind of technical specs of the Z series. You can have things customized to whatever specs you need, but with the added weight of a couple of pounds you save a couple hundred bucks.
Alienware is their ‘Extreme Gaming Series.’ In 11”, 14” and 17” options that all come with the best graphics, Intel capacity and customizable command center controls, NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards for unbelievable clarity, and WiMAX with 4G speeds. If you’re a gamer, this is the computer you want to buy. The cost can vary almost between $499-$1,899 depending upon your add-ons and screen size.
The thing about buying a laptop is that you really should get exactly what suits your needs. If Dell has what you need then great; if not, Toshiba, Acer, Samsung and HP all make excellent machines as well.
